About me!
Gina Flora is a stop motion animator and recent graduate from the School of Visual Arts in NYC. During her time as a student, she directed two stop motion short films, one of which being her thesis film, Appulse.Much of her work explores human emotions, using celestial objects from outer space as visual devices, and often takes inspiration from real life NASA missions. Aside from animating, she also dabbles in puppet fabrication, sculpting, and acrylic painting.When she’s not making art, she enjoys using her telescope, playing Minecraft, and watching Star Trek.

A human astronaut crash lands on an unfamiliar planet and is rescued by an alien inhabitant. The human and extraterrestrial work together to fix the human's wrecked spaceship, and build a friendship in the process.
